A Lover's Concerto

最近、車の中ではジャズボーカルのCDを聞いている。サラ・ヴォーン(Sarah Vaughan)の「ラヴァーズ・コンツェルト」"A Lover's Concerto"が素晴らしい。3分もない短い曲なので、つい何度も何度も聞いてしまう。

ドラマは基本的に見ないので知らなかったのですが、フジ系ドラマ「不機嫌なジーン」（2005年）の劇中歌で使われていたそうです。
サラ・ヴォーンの歌声が何とも暖かい。思わず懐かしい気持ちになるのはなぜだろう。この曲にのせて、恋人との想い出（写真など）を振り返ったら･･･なんて柄にもないことを考えてみる。
ネット上の情報によると、この曲の作詞は1965年にサンディ・リンザーとデニー・ランデルが共作。メロディは楽聖ヨハン・セバスチャン・バッハが1725年に妻アンナ・マグダレーナのために作曲した「クラヴィア組曲」中の1曲を戴いたものだそうです。原曲がクラシックなので、懐かしいのかもしれない。
この曲は歌詞も素晴らしいです。訳なしでそのまま載せておきます。
